Xu Yong500 Portrts fertigte der Fotograf Xu Yong von Zi U einer Sexarbeiterin in Peking. Er begleitete sie an einem normalen Arbeitstag, um immer wieder Nahaufnahmen ihres Gesichts zu machen. Oft direkt nachdem sich ein Kunde verabschiedet hatte. Zusammen mit den Tagebucheintrgen Zi Us hielt Xu ihr Leben und ihre Stimmung fest.
